By running for a position on the TUSD School Board I am taking the next
logical step in my years of leadership and volunteering. For the past
13 years I have taken an active leadership role in each school my own
children have attended as well as other schools by serving on the
Torrance Council of PTAs Board of Directors, Vice-President of the
Torrance Education Foundation, and many other committees.
I _understand_ the wants and needs of the parents, students, teachers
and administrators of Torrance. I know, first hand, the difficulties
that school's face while educating our children. I firmly believes
that_all__ _students should be given the means and opportunity to succeed.
As a parent of two children, a son in high school and a daughter in her
first year of college, I am committed to continue my passion and
dedication for the children in Torrance.

Redevelopment agency voted to condemn
the land purchased for the construction of a
new Church building by Cottonwood Christian
Center.
The city intended to give Cottonwood's
property to Costco Wholesale Corporation, or a
developer that builds a tax-generating
