it my home. As a public school teacher I believe it is
vital to have the best education possible for all of the
kids in our community. In addition, I have seven kids
of my own and I want to make sure they have a safe,
quality public education. I have served on the
Lancaster School Board for 12 years and I want to
continue to work for the benefit of our schools and

________I do not beleive abortion is necessary
in any situation. Research has shown that there is a
great healing effect on women who have their babies
even when it is an unwanted pregnancy because they
see that something good can come out of a difficult
situation. I beleive life should be protected and
cherished. I beleive there should be much stiffer
fines on men who do not provide for their babies. There
is a huge waiting list for adoption and I beleive it is the
best "choice".

26. On June 23, 2005 the U.S. Supreme Court
decided in KELO et al. v. City of New London
et al. that they would allow the City of New
London, CT. to take the property of
private citizens for commercial division.
Similar to the action taken on May 28, 2002
the Cypress City Council in California with
the Board of Directors of the Cypress
Redevelopment agency voted to condemn
the land purchased for the construction of a
new Church building by Cottonwood Christian
Center.
The city intended to give Cottonwood's
property to Costco Wholesale Corporation, or a
developer that builds a tax-generating
facility. Do you support governmental
entities using eminent domain laws for the
benefit of commercial ventures or enterprises?

California announced in a News Release that
U.S. District Court Judge Dickran Tevrizian
ruled against the City's ability to regulate
adult-oriented businesses within their

establishments within its jurisdiction?

Lockhart said: "I think the president believes
the curriculum is by law and by all common
practice left to local school boards," White
House Press Secretary Joe Lockhart said. "I
think the president believes, that the local
school boards, though, are bound by the law
of the land and the Supreme Court has
spoken very clearly on this issue."
Do you believe that the Local Board of Education or the
State Board of Education should have the right to allow
the teaching of creationism and evolution on an equal

the only alternative will be the
constitutional process. We must do what is
legally necessary to defend the sanctity of

threatened lawsuit.
Zev Yaroslavsky one of the three (3) voting
for removal said: "I don't personally believe
that any religious symbol on any government
seal is appropriate."
